TEDx Talk in the books!
Standing on that red circle, I felt equal parts terror and exhilaration. When I delivered my first line, I had a tingling in my hand and, for a fleeting moment, thought the terror might win.
Not so fast… The overwhelming support and love brought a calm and joy to the 13 minutes, and for that, I’m forever grateful!
I was humbled to share the stage with so many brilliant speakers and performers doing important work the world needs to hear about.
I’m in awe of the volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to make such an event possible. They believe in the power of ideas and the importance of community, and they do something about it.
And a huge shout out to the people of Jacksonville who showed up. Your curiosity and engagement made such a difference. I loved meeting so many attendees wide-eyed about what’s possible. I’m counting on you to change the world.
What I’ll remember and cherish the most? Having my wife, kids, mom, brother, and some dear friends there to share the experience. And forming some new relationships I hope to have forever. A reminder that, when all is said and done, the love we give and get is what really matters.
